Rice wreath for Christmas

We made these wreaths for Christmas with colored rice.

Simply mix rice with your favorite color by adding very little water and let them dry.
Cut a card board of your desired size into a wreath.
Take a bowl with your favorite combination of colored rice mix with fevicol or gum.
Pour on the card board wreath and make sure that it looks like a donut, let that dry.
Stick a satin ribbon backside of the card board for hanging.
Embellishments are to your creativity, i used a store bought bow.

Dotted Photo Frame

Here s a polki dotted handmade photo frame ......

I used a card board and few acrylic colors for cutting need a knife, cello tape to stick your photo to the frame and dual tape to stick on your wall. Just cut the board to your desired size and color the frame to your choice .......

My Cuteee pie .....

 Went to Super Market, parking daggara PaniPuri dabba undi, Manvi want to eat pani puri i said return lo tindamu ani after returning back v were standing at pani puri dabba for our turn. In the meanwhile a 5 - 6 yr old boy came with some papers for donation and i said NO to him and he left from there(ee madhyana donation kind of begging baga jarugutunayi, edo oka printed paper testaru peddavallu pakkana undi kids ni ila pampistunaru, so i dont want to entertain them)

Manvi - Amma aa abbai books teesukuni enduku vachadu?
Me - Abbayiki money kavali anta
Manvi - endukanta?
Me - School ki velladaniki, books konukkodaniki money levanta anduke adugutunadu 
Manvi - Mari ayite ivvachu kada
Me - Nanna naku ivvaledu amma
After 1minute silence
Manvi - Amma nee daggira entha money unnadi
Me - Only 20/- for one plate of pani puri (Manvi pani puris viparitamga tintadi easyga 2plates panipuri tinestadi which may disturb her stomach, eppudu alane cheptanu)
Manvi - Ayite aa money abbayiki icheyyi amma
Me - mari neeku pani puri vadda, akali vestondi annavu kada?
Manvi - Pani puri vaddu amma, akali vestundi kani nuvvu intiki vellaka naku annam pedatavu kada adi tintanule ...
Me - Are u sure? (I jst wanted to know her thoughts)
Manvi - Nuvvu inka cooking cheyyaledu kani nenu naa stomach ki STOP cheptanu appudu akali veyyadu malli cooking ayipoyaka START cheptanu appudu akali vastadi, ippudu abbayiki money icheyyi appudu abbayi School ki veltadu OK na amma (requesting)

I am really very happy on dat day for her helping nature, money ivvadam naku ishtam lekapoyina kuda Manvi chetha money ippinchanu aa abbayiki, naa chitti talli entha peddadi ayipoyindo kada asalu she started thinking on her own and naku oka nimisham kallallo neellu tirigayi ......

LO Mango Tree

This is a hand print Trunk & Branches and finger print leaves & fruits ....... and LO named it as Mango tree as she named it so i have to accept it so ;)

Acquarium with finger print fishes

Here is an aquarium made of white chart, water colors and fishes with LO thumb prints. I gave a final touch-up for the outline of fishes with black color sketch pen ........

Tissue Paper Flower

Now-a-days LO is suffering with fever and is at home full time, so i need to engage her in some or the other activity so that she is not bored and at the same time she can learn something out of nothing ;) 

Here we used a toilet paper tissue to make a flower. LO needed my help in making this flower as she is not able to manage paper quilts with her tiny hands .....

 Do 'n' number of folding and tie the center with a cello tape as shown in the figure ........

Now let us assume this to be two bunches left side bunch and right side bunch, slowly expand the first quilt left bunch to clockwise direction and the last quilt of right bunch to anti clockwise direction (its exactly opposite side) Now it looks something like this ..........

Here comes time for your creativity either can color this with crayons or sketch pens or you can even use different color tissue papers to make different colored flowers ......

My LO colored with sketch pens like this ....

When i asked her which flower is this as its not having a single color? She answered me that its a "Multicolored Flower" and no words for me to say :( Kids have all answers ready with them :)

Valentines Day greetings by Little One

I am so happy that my little one made a greeting card to wish on this Valentines Day ..

She used a white color chart and her thumb prints to make love symbols and for colors she used her color tikkies (colors tilakam) which we used to keep on our forehead for bindi (bottu) ........
